Unit Services, Inc. (USI) & Unit Construction, LLC (UCLLC) are full service general contractors specializing in the rehabilitation and new construction of multi-family housing projects, for sale town homes, and commercial projects. USI/UCLLC have extensive experience in developing a project from the conceptual stage through the construction. USI/UCLLC credits itself with completing projects on time and on budget.
USI was established in 1993 to provide construction services for The Humphrey Companies, a full service real estate firm in business to develop market rate, affordable family, and elderly rental communities as well as for sale town homes and condo communities.
In 2005 Unit Construction, LLC (UCLLC) was established as a succession planning move to provide ownership options to its employees. The executive officers of Unit Construction, LLC are identical to those of Unit Services, INC.
Over the years USI/UCLLC has expanded and provides services to developers and owners outside The Humphrey Companies.
USI/UCLLC has completed projects ranging from new construction of for sale town homes, apartment communities, senior housing developments, and classroom/multi-purpose buildings for grades K-12. USI/UCLLC’s main specialty is the rehabilitation of existing apartment complexes/communities and takes great pride in completing those projects as occupied rehabs.
USI/UCLLC can establish preliminary budgets for new projects and work with the entire development team from the conceptual stage to completion of the project.
USI/UCLLC understands the importance of controlling costs during development and construction of a project and bringing that project in within budget. USI/UCLLC has completed numerous affordable housing projects on time and on budget and can provide all of the necessary agency documents required.
One of the unique services USI/UCLLC offers is the ability to provide a detailed scope of work and pricing for your project. This can be done through a unit by unit inspection of the entire project or by inspecting a sampling of units to use as a guide. They also have the ability to evaluate the existing conditions and make recommendations of what systems will need repair or updating. These services can be done at the early planning stages of the project or as a team during the development process.
